If you wish to purchase a painting unframed, the savings are substantial. For example, an 8X10" original painting, would cost you $150. The reason I offer this savings is because I live a long way from the framer in town. It costs me a trip to town, to take the painting to the framer, and another trip to town to pick the painting up. I lose two days away from my studio painting. Shipping costs rise when the paintings are framed, and they have to be packed very carefully so glass doesn't break.
